The Paint Group Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating team members to achieve business goals through continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture in the Paint Shop Department.
Requirements
- Manage the daily allocation of work
- Develop and maintain visual management boards
- Set and manage training programs
- Promote flexibility in the team
- Ensure performance standards are met
- Manage team and individual’s performance and attendance
- Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Encourage involvement from all team members through daily meetings
- Demonstrate active listening to ensure all team members and colleagues’ issues are understood
- Take responsibility for the physical appearance and safety of the workplace
- Enforce Health and Safety requirements and meet objectives
- Operate and monitor a system of work that is safe to the Environment within permissible limits
- Ensure all direct activities have a relevant Standard Operating Procedure
- Actively pursue the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Liaise with suppliers on quality, delivery, performance, safety and cost
