Class 3 Power Engineer

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining a biomass boiler and 4 dry kilns, performing general plant maintenance and inspections, and ensuring the equipment standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Daily inspections to visually verify that all equipment is functioning properly around the plant
• Small repairs requiring the use of small hand tools and preventative maintenance
• Perform ongoing system checks and ensuring they are properly logged, including checking temperature, pressure and water levels, etc
• Monitor various pressures, temperatures, flow levels, sensors, and troubleshooting alarms associated with the equipment
• Ensure general housekeeping and maintain equipment standards
