Job description
JerseySTEM is looking for a Head of Data Analytics to coordinate research, collection, and organization of information related to schools, colleges, or corporations. The role involves managing a team of analytics volunteers and interns, understanding stakeholder requirements, and establishing departmental guidelines.
Manage a team, design projects, establish guidelines, recruit and train new volunteers, mentor and guide team members, coordinate weekly meetings, and participate in steering committee and board meetings.
The ideal candidate has a genuine concern about solving the gender gap and opportunity gap in education, a quantitative field degree, and 8+ years of work experience. They should have experience with SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, and analyzing data from 3rd party providers and open data sources.
