Senior Quality Engineer

Role Overview

What You Will Do

Define and lead the quality strategy within a cross-functional product squad, collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, enable development teams to take ownership of quality, establish and maintain scalable testing frameworks, and conduct exploratory testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Quality Assurance, or a related role within cross-functional product teams
• Proven experience working with complex software systems, including APIs, distributed architectures, cloud-based platforms, or multi-layer applications
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies across unit, integration, system, and end-to-end testing levels
• Hands-on experience with test automation and a solid understanding of how automated testing integrates into modern software delivery practices
• Experience working in environments where development teams are responsible for testing and quality ownership
• Ability to guide engineering teams in developing effective test coverage strategies and making pragmatic, risk-based quality decisions
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, continuous delivery practices, and quality assurance within agile development environments
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment when balancing product quality, delivery speed, and business priorities
