Job Description
The Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide professional nursing services in accordance with physicians' orders or plan of care, assessing conditions, processing physicians' orders, providing treatments, and administering prescribed drugs. The RN/LPN will also coordinate nursing care for patients, educate patients and family about care, and document patients' progress towards goals and other observations.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in professional nursing (ADN) or a combination of education, training, and experience acquired through completion of an accredited School of Nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure by the Missouri or Kansas State Board of Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to direct patient contact
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum of 12 training and in-service hours annually
