Construction Services Equipment Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead large HVAC Equipment delivery, startup, commissioning and integrated systems testing projects in North America. The successful candidate will have a minimum of eight years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry, with a focus on Mechanical Retrofits, HVAC controls, BAS management, Fire management, and Security management systems. The role requires strong communication and technical skills, as well as proficiency in Project Management software and financial accounting systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry
• Management experience with projects related to Mechanical Retrofits, HVAC controls, BAS management, Fire management, and Security management systems
• Project Management Institute (PMI)/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification within 2 years of employment
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience
• Proficiency in Project Management software and financial accounting systems
• Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (excel, word, power point, project), Adobe Writer, Visio and basic Windows environment
• Travel will vary on project assignment
• Experience in dealing with a large and diverse number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines
