Job Description
Jordan Valley Community Health Center is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to provide administrative and clinical support to physicians. The position involves assisting patients, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding, as well as various clinical tasks like vital signs, medication administration, and patient education. The JHCC is dedicated to improving the health of underserved communities and provides comprehensive healthcare services.
Requirements
- 1-3 years relevant clinical experience or current valid medical assistant credentials.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required, must obtain within first 90 days of employment.
- Graduation from a medical assistant program or current valid medical assistant credentials.
- Current valid LPN license.
- Community health nursing experience preferred.
