Lower School Art Teacher

The Lower School Art Teacher is responsible for teaching art concepts to students in Early Childhood through 4th grade with learning differences at June Shelton School & Evaluation Center. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of elementary education teaching experience, a Bachelor's Degree in Art or Education with an emphasis in Art, and a passion for working with students with learning differences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of elementary education teaching experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Art or Education with an emphasis in Art
• Master's Degree, Montessori training, and/or Language Therapy training preferred
• Experience working with students with learning differences preferred
• Proficiency in educational technology
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues
