Mechanical Engineer, Junior

KAIROS, Inc. is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Newport, RI. The successful candidate will research, develop, design, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices. This is a full-time position contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• Bachelor's level degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to complete a full background investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
• Microsoft office suite proficiency
• Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced environment
