
Job description
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing a 12-hour shift of union Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance employees to ensure equipment reliability and metal flow throughout the plant. They supervise all Maintenance Craft Workers, schedule/administer time & attendance, and direct safety meetings.
The Maintenance Supervisor will identify and assist with equipment issues, coordinate resource sharing, review and document maintenance work activities, and use a CMMS system to enter Service Requests and manage Work Orders.
The ideal candidate will have strong Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting experience, a strong grasp of contract, agreements, and labor relations practices, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
