Seeking a Systems Administrator to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology systems, including in-depth troubleshooting of complex system issues, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, and managing IT system infrastructure and processes.
Requirements
- Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology systems
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, resolution, and detailed analysis for escalated tickets
- Manage the daily configuration and operational activities of Information Technology systems
- Provide day-to-day operational support, monitoring, and problem resolution for client, server, storage, network, and mobile device environments
- Support escalation processes by communicating system status and providing detailed feedback to agency management and internal customers
- Support dispatch systems and hardware-related issues while remaining engaged through issue resolution
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install and load operating system software, configure and maintain network components, optimize system operations and resource utilization, perform capacity analysis and planning, and implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance
- Have ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, OR fifteen (15) years of Systems Administrator experience if a degree is not held
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required
