Purchasing Specialist

KBR is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support large EPC projects by managing the procurement of goods and services under direct supervision.

Requirements

• Executing and supervising cradle to grave purchasing activities
• Negotiating favorable terms with suppliers
• Driving cost reduction initiatives
• Understanding, tracking, and forecasting key cost drivers and market factors
• Developing Category specific sourcing strategies
• Identifying corrective actions for quality or schedule issues
• Maintaining long-term partnerships with suppliers
• Providing input for continuous improvement in the procurement process
• Conducting the orderly closeout of Procurement operations
