Job Description
Supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Provides direct supervision and leadership to a group of youth in a seasonal sports camp setting.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Pass a background check
- Pass a motor vehicle check (if required to drive and must be 21+)
- Experience working with school age youth and/or teens, preferably in a day camp setting
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Sports/PE/recreational games
- Ability to coach and instruct children
- Behavioral management skills
- CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, and Child Abuse Prevention training with the first 30 days of hire
- Completed health form prior to start date (if required)
