Technical Services Assistant

Role Overview

The Technical Services Assistant will provide technical support to regional Marketing and Sales teams for various markets. They will work with applications, laboratory tests, pilot tests, sensory tests, and sample preparation, mainly for the Proteins market.

What You Will Do

Conduct bench tests and pilot tests, support the sales team with technical support, conduct product evaluations and applications for clients, and support internal and client research with protocols, tests, and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, or related fields
• Desirable experience: Work/internship in ingredient or food companies; Food ingredient testing in a laboratory
• Languages: Advanced English desirable; Intermediate Spanish desirable
• Technical knowledge of ingredients and their applications in food
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques
• Good communication, customer service, and presentation skills
• Analytical skills for applied research and commercial testing
• Proactive profile, sense of urgency, agility, and orientation to results
• Organization and zeal
• Good teamwork
• Good written and oral communication

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel)
