Job Description
Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP) is seeking a full-time, school-year Teacher Assistant to support their Somerset Preschool program in Hartland, ME. The role offers training, professional development, and generous benefits, focusing on providing excellent care and education to children aged 3-5. KVCAP strengthens individuals, families, and communities through direct services and community collaborations.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in group care setting with young children
- Must be able to meet agency & State Child Care Licensing requirements for background checks and physical exams
- Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, basic computer, and group management skills
