This position is a full-time, 10 month, hybrid, non-tenure-track, faculty position as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Social Work. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching courses at the undergraduate/graduate levels and supporting Keuka College through active engagement and service.
Requirements
- Teach Social Work courses at the undergraduate/graduate levels
- Serve as an advisor to social work students
- Support ongoing curriculum review/revisions and updates
- Assist the Program Director and Division Chair in writing the CSWE reaffirmation documents
- Contribute to the College and the community
- Demonstrate active research/scholarly activity in the field of Social Work
- Demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching
- Work with the Division Chair and the Program Director in the recruitment and retention of students
- Maintain high standards of integrity
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward co-workers and students
- Represent Keuka College in a positive and professional manner
- Maintain effective working relationships to ensure institution-wide teamwork
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
