Senior Facilities Technician

KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician to maintain school facility operations, ensure safety and compliance, and communicate with school and campus operations staff. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience, expertise in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Manage and maintain all building systems
• Responsible for campus buildings and grounds
• Execute work orders to high standards of quality and timeliness
• Communicate with other school staff and departments
• On call response during and after operating hours
• Assist with the planning of and lead the execution of the Preventive Maintenance schedule
• Coordinate with campus and custodial staff
• Perform regular inspections and resolve potential problems
• Manages Maintenance Technicians at assigned facility
• Responsible for management of facilities maintenance budget
