Job Description
The Bilingual Family Peer Specialist – WISe Team is seeking a team member to join their Child & Family program within the Wraparound with Intensive Services program at Kimsap Mental Health Services. This role involves providing culturally-informed peer support to Spanish-speaking families, promoting resilience, and connecting families to community resources. The position requires proficiency in both English and Spanish and a passion for empowering families navigating complex behavioral or emotional challenges.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience raising a client involved with the mental health system
- Current, valid driver’s license in Washington State
- Reliable vehicle with insurance
- Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration
- Completion of Washington State Mental Health Division’s Peer Counselor Training
