Job Description
H Kitsap Mental Health Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech for their Youth Inpatient Unit. This on-call position involves providing ongoing assistance to clients with mental health issues in a safe and therapeutic environment. The role requires monitoring client behaviors, implementing treatment plans, documenting observations, and collaborating with the team. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, de-escalation, therapeutic activities, and client support. This position requires a commitment to fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Requirements
- 1 year (customer service, social services, or behavioral health) experience.
- Valid Washington Food Handler card (can be obtained after hire).
- Eligible for Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration.
