Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

Join our Central Engineering team as an Electrical Engineer based in Newport, Wales, UK. You'll work with a team of mechanical and electrical design engineers responsible for power modules and communication modules across different divisions within the corporation.

What You Will Do

Design and document circuits for new projects, partake in Design Reviews, select and detail new parts, work with suppliers, and address product issues.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We're looking for a self-motivated engineer with strong documentation skills, knowledge of AutoCAD, Visio, Excel, and other Microsoft365 tools. Experience with wire harness and/or cable documentation and design, safety circuits, and PLC implementation and programming is desirable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline) or hold equivalent level of qualification
• Strong documentation skills, with knowledge of AutoCAD, Visio, Excel, and other Microsoft365 tools
• Self-motivated engineer with ability to multi-task and work independently as part of a team
• Strong communications skills for extensive interaction with vendors and team members
