Job Description
The Casting/Melting Operator is responsible for monitoring equipment, making adjustments, and reporting any changes in conditions. The role involves ensuring quality is maintained, performing material handling, and maintaining a clean/organized work area.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend basic English.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to identify nonstandard situations and respond accordingly.
- High school degree or GED equivalence.
- Experience in molten metal manufacturing preferred.
- Crane and forklift experience preferred.
