Process Engineer

The Process/Product Engineer role will leverage engineering fundamentals to design novel solutions to complex manufacturing issues and drive significant process performance improvements. The role will partner with operators, mechanics, technicians, engineers, and external vendors to provide chemical, electrical, mechanical, software, and control systems assistance, troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing and product quality issues, plan, manage, and delegate projects, collect and present production performance data, mentor technicians, operators, and maintenance personnel, oversee new formulation and product development experimentation, support product commercialization teams, and design hardware, software, and process solutions that drive continuous improvement and increase process capabilities.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• Process Engineering focused curriculum
• Six Sigma certification
• At least two years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues in a timely manner
• Six Sigma methodologies and tools
• Lean Manufacturing techniques
