FOIA Analyst

Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking a FOIA Analyst to support KPS and our government customer in Charleston, SC. The position requires the candidate to obtain a Public Trust and perform comprehensive support for FOIA operations.

Requirements

• Monitor systems, mail, faxes, and email accounts for new requests and referrals
• Draft acknowledgment letters with appropriate fee categories and determinations
• Coordinate with components for document review and case management
• Maintain electronic case files with comprehensive documentation
• Update case management systems for data accuracy
• Manage correspondence and communications
• Prepare Vaughn indices for withheld documents
• Generate required reports and statistics
• Ensure Section 508 compliance for public materials
