The Senior Manager, Omni Shopper Marketing – Walmart Dry is an integral part of the WM/Club Shopper Marketing team within the Sales Customer Development Organization. This individual supports area leadership, owns the management of the Walmart marketing budget for key categories, spearheads strategic annual planning of key drive periods at retail and acts as the main contact and trusted adviser to internal and external partners.
Requirements
- Provide Shopper Marketing leadership, tactic expertise, and key point of contact to Walmart sales team, Walmart Connect and Walmart merchants
- Own budget management/reporting and ongoing process improvement for Walmart pantry
- Steer strategic annual planning of key marketing activations and strategy in-store and online
- Partner with BU and Central Marketing Teams to identify and develop shopper programs thatalign with both customer objectives as well as internal sales and brand team goals
- Brief agency teams and internal partners on shopper marketing activations, providing clear guidance on success criteria
- Adapt strategies and tactics based on real time performance data
- Build compelling selling tools to aid the field with securing retailer support of key promotions
- Establish new routines and rituals to improve communication and knowledge sharing betweenthe field, BU, and leadership
- Own relationship with creative agency team for Walmart pantry business
- Tailor brand strategies to Walmart environment for optimized shopper experiences, to deliver sales, market share, and improved ROI
