Mainframe z/OS System Programmer

Role Overview

As a Mainframe z/OS System Programmer at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients.

What You Will Do

Manage systems data for clients, provide day-to-day solutions and security compliance, oversee a queue of assignments, and work directly with technicians to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Mainframe zOS Platform support
• Act as support and domain expert for z/OS operating system and system components
• License management for ISV products, Patch management for zOS
• Knowledge on SMP/E
• Experience with ISV product upgrades
• Primary support for assigned ISV products along with diagnose z/OS platform system and product issues and follow up with root cause analysis
