Senior Network Engineer

Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support and maintain steady state operations for our clients in Melbourne. The role involves ensuring client Azure networking environments are secure, reliable, and high performing on a day-to-day basis.

What You Will Do

Design, deliver, and support modern network services and cloud access solutions, troubleshoot complex performance issues, and drive issues through to resolution.

Requirements

• Strong experience in network management and optimisation
• Experience managing external stakeholders within a Managed Services environment
• Australian citizenship with NV1 clearance
• Experience with ITIL methodology (Incident, Change, Problem & Request management)
• Azure networking
• Cloud On-Ramp, Express Route
• SD-WAN (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet)
• Firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Azure)
• Python and PowerShell scripting for network automation
• NBN (FTTP/N/C, HFC), NBN EE, Fiber, MPLS
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) for network resource provisioning
• Git version control and GitOps workflows for network change management
