Clinical Lab Technologist- Blood Bank

LabCorp is seeking a Clinical Lab Technologist to join our blood bank team at Ascension St Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. The role involves performing routine and complex technical procedures, monitoring instrumentation, and reporting accurate test results to deliver quality patient care.

Requirements

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation
• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls
• Report accurate and timely test results
• Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies
• Assist with processing of specimens
