Specimen Accessioner

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join their team in New Castle, DE. The job involves preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, accurate identification and labeling of specimens, and data entry of patient information. The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, and has strong data entry and organizational skills.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience with MS Office
• Able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized colorblindness test
