Role Overview

Join Labcorp's team in New Castle, DE as a Specimen Accessioner. Work in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment and perform clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting, and data entry according to established standard operating procedures.

What You Will Do

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing, unpack and route specimens, accurately identify and label specimens, pack and ship specimens, meet department activity and production goals, and properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience with MS Office
• Able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized colorblindness test
