Role Overview

Join Labcorp's team in New Castle, DE as a Specimen Accessioner. This role involves performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting, and data entry in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis, unpack and route specimens, accurately identify and label specimens, pack and ship specimens, meet department goals, and resolve problem specimens.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience with MS Office
• Able to lift up to 40lbs.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
