Specimen Management Specialist

Role Overview

Join our team in Raritan, NJ as a Specimen Management Specialist. Work as a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients, resolving internal & external customer requests and communicating with customers in a respectful and professional manner.

What You Will Do

Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions, provide customer education and information, review test forms for accuracy, prepare and triage specimens for analysis, accurately identify and label specimens, pack and ship specimens as necessary, and prepare and store excess specimen samples.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We're looking for someone with a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 months or more of specimen processing experience, and 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience. You should be comfortable with handling biological specimens, able to accurately identify specimens, and have basic computer knowledge and data entry skills.
