The Strategic Commodity Manager 4 role plays a crucial part in managing industry suppliers, developing and implementing commodity strategies, and resolving delivery, cost, and production challenges.
Requirements
- Develop and deploy new suppliers for critical technology in a fast-pace, high mix, low volume environment.
- Develop and maintain suppliers' core competencies to support local/global business requirements
- Manage supplier capacity plans and articulate constraints for long term planning
- Negotiate contracts (purchase agreements, ISA's, CIA's and etc.) and identify/execute on pricing inflection points
- Manage Lam liabilities at suppliers through claims and balance sheet review processes
- Manage Lam working capital through lead time strategies including postponement, consignment, and inventory stocking strategies
- Business continuity planning and risk mitigation.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of Lam's quality management system and properly apply quality procedures and operating procedures as appropriate
- Receiving deemed exports of EAR or ITAR controlled technology
- Carry out technical and commercial projects and all other additional duties as assigned.
- Write effective reports on development of progress of projects.
