Job Description
The job involves working as a Supplier Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Lam Research in Malaysia, ensuring suppliers' manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards. The role requires applying skills and experience with semiconductor manufacturing and equipment, focused on vacuum technology, to technical and quality problems encountered in the product life cycle. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering and more than 10 years of experience in Semiconductor equipment system and component level problem-solving knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering
- More than 10 years of experience in Semiconductor equipment system and component level problem-solving knowledge
- Ability and expertise in Failure Analysis (FA) /8D process, 5-whys, FMEA, Design-for-Reliability, Weibull analyses, etc.
- Working knowledge of electrical & mfg standards (Semi S2, OSHA, ISO9000/14000, RoHS, UL, IEEE, MIL, IPC 610/620)
- Electro-mechanical assembly, methods of part fabrication, assembly, test and quality assurance
- Critical and creative thinking, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods
- Prior product design and technical engineer experience in vacuum systems is beneficial
