Civil Design Technologies Specialist

Langan is seeking a Civil Design Technologist to join its collaborative team in Calgary. This role will work alongside engineers, geologists and others to prepare plans to assist in the delivery of projects for a variety of private and public sector Clients.

Requirements

• Civil Technologist diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• Registered with ASET
• 3+ years of related site/civil and environmental experience
• Experience with City of Calgary CAD/drafting standards and submission requirements
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GIS platforms with the ability to troubleshoot software issues
• Strong skills with data organization, including Excel data management, QA/QC workflows, and template development
• Ability to interpret data and prepare visual outputs for Clients and regulators
• Strong technical writing for reports and deliverables
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
