Senior Software Engineer, Global Banking & Markets, Equities Trading Technology

The Senior Software Engineer will work on the Consolidated Trade Ledger (CTL) project, a ground-up reimagining of the front-to-back architecture for Goldman Sachs' Equities Trading Technology. The role involves designing, building, and operating high-availability, multi-region, cloud-native services with security and observability built in. The candidate will partner with engineers and domain experts to understand and model the firm's business processes, challenging entrenched practices and driving modernization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience in Java
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools
• Experience building event-driven and distributed systems
• Strong SDLC practices
• Solid testing discipline
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
