The Paralegal – Capital Markets is an integral part of Latham’s Legal Professional and Paralegal team and will work to support the Capital Markets practice. This role will be responsible for supporting attorneys throughout all phases of capital markets transactions, including managing closing documentation, supporting due diligence processes, tracking deadlines, and ensuring execution of legal documents.
Requirements
- Drafting and managing closing checklists, signature pages, and closing binders
- Performing basic tasks in connection with capital market transactions including with respect to prospectuses, under-writing agreements, fee mandates and financial statements
- Helping prepare due diligence questionnaires and support due diligence processes
- Tracking and managing deadlines for transaction timelines, filings, consents, and other corporate governance matters, including diarising and sharing reminders with the team
- Coordinating signatures and document execution with clients and internal teams
- Providing timely updates and status reports on deliverables to attorneys and clients
