HGV1 Driver

Reporting directly to the Transport Manager, as an HGV Driver you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods from one location to another.

Requirements

• Drive and deliver goods to various destinations
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods as per the schedule
• Follow designated routes and schedules
• Adhere to all road safety and traffic regulations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Comply with all UK and EU driving regulations
• Use Tacho and ensure all driving rules are followed
• Ensure Health and Safety of yourself and others
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage and vehicle maintenance
• Interact professionally and courteously with clients, customers, road users and pedestrians
