Social Science Teacher (SY 2026-27)

Teach social science classes to students in a rigorous and differentiated manner, utilizing research-based assessment strategies and promoting cultural relevance and identity safety. Develop positive relationships with the school community and contribute to professional learning communities.

Requirements

• Teach classes as assigned
• Utilize effective and research-based academic assessment strategies
• Differentiate instructional strategies to ensure students are motivated and challenged
• Practice identity-safe, culturally-relevant pedagogy
• Communicate clearly and timely with parents/caregivers and colleagues
• Participate in IEP meetings as assigned
• Contribute to the cultivation of strong and cohesive professional learning communities
