Power Line Technician Apprentice

You are an Apprentice Linesperson who supports the construction, installation, and maintenance of overhead and underground powerlines in Saskatchewan. You enjoy working at heights, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring that electrical and communication systems are installed safely and to industry standards.

Requirements

• Construct, install, inspect, and maintain overhead and underground power distribution systems
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair distribution powerlines
• Read and interpret construction drawings, work plans, and schematics
• Track daily production, material usage, and support logistics and crew coordination
• Follow and promote strict safety practices
• Train and support junior workers or apprentices on proper work practices
