Certified Addiction Counselor (ACT)- Part Time

Legacy Behavioral Health Services is hiring a Certified Addiction Counselor to work in their Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. The counselor will provide evaluation and therapeutic services to adults with co-occurring disorders in a clinic and in the community.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with a supervised clinical practicum
• Eligible for licensure with the Georgia Composite Board as a LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LPC, LCSW OR LMFT
• Two years of full-time experience involving direct client contact such as therapy, case management, intake assessments and crisis screening (preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork
• Computer experience
• Valid Georgia driver’s license with no more than 6 points
