Design Engineer II

Role Overview

Design Engineer II will join the Audio Video Division in Warsaw, IN, responsible for designing, developing, and transitioning to production of consumer-directed, aesthetically-pleasing, innovative, cost-effective, and reproducible designs of projection screens, easels, and accessories for the audio-visual industry.

What You Will Do

Design aesthetically-pleasing, functional, and manufacturable customer-driven, innovative products, assist Marketing team members, effectively interface with engineers, designers, technicians, manufacturing engineers, and suppliers, and participate in developing project plans, test plans, and writing test reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or other related technical degree
• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a mechanical design engineer in a manufacturing environment
• 3D CAD work experience
• Ability to interpret standards, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.
• Mechanical aptitude
• Effective project planning and execution skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Computer literate (MS Office, e-mail, etc.)
