Senior Electrical System Design Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Senior Electrical System Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will thrive in a learning environment that encourages leadership and technical growth, and will support a variety of programs to develop electronic assemblies integrated into aerospace and military systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution
• 12+ years of experience in hardware system design and test from architecture through implementation
• Experience with technical problem solving and root cause analysis
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and system block diagrams
• Cable design experience
• Proven understanding of fundamental circuits and circuit components
• Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and debug/test methods
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• SECRET clearance and ability to maintain it
