Job Description
Lemonade is seeking a senior-level backend engineer to join their growing Engineering team in Amsterdam. This role involves building features, collaborating with various teams (Product, QA, Data, Machine Learning), and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The engineer will work with microservices (Typescript/NestJS, Ruby on Rails/Kubernetes), utilize in-house tools, collaborate with other teams for business growth, own their domain, ensure code quality, and mentor other developers.
Requirements
- 5+ years working as a backend engineer
- Experience in billing and finance systems
- Strong DBs knowledge
- BSc in Computer Science or Mathematics (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working on high scale, production-grade projects
- Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week
