Job Summary: The Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Senior Manager of Business Development to lead the evaluation and implementation of new initiatives and business opportunities for the Company. The successful candidate demonstrates high integrity, proactively builds new skills, and independently drives work to meet program goals and business objectives.
Requirements
- Manage and conduct the evaluation and implementation of new initiatives and business opportunities
- Provide strategic and tactical direction to the business development function
- Conduct and may oversee the market analysis and competitive activity
- Identify and explore customer needs
- Develop and track project schedules
- Participate/coordinate in strategic alliances and other external business relationships
- Make presentations on Company portfolio of products and services
- Attend business meetings as requested
- Attend trade shows
- Analyze and have general understanding of the Government budgeting process
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Planning and organization, project management, and time management skills
- Proposal development and Shipley process experience
- Capture management experience
- General business acumen
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Knowledge of defense markets and technology
