Job Description
This role involves the repair of various types of equipment including computers, printers, POS devices, and mobile scanners. The technician will perform repairs independently, using technical documentation and diagnostics, and collaborate with customers to resolve issues. Experience with laser barcode equipment is highly preferred.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience in a related field
- Experience with POS (Point-of-Sale) equipment is preferred
- Experience with computer software, printers, and/or scanners installation and configuration
- Ability to repair laser barcode equipment such as Symbol, Intermec, and Honeywell
- Component level soldering skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift on a repetitive basis up to a maximum of 70 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Occasional evenings and weekends required
