Prior Authorization Associate

Lexington Health is seeking a Prior Authorization Associate to accurately authorize referrals prior to patient appointments, utilizing Epic Referral Work Queues, Experian Real Time Authorization (RTA), and other tools. The successful candidate will communicate authorization updates to departments, verify clinical information, and document all information within the referral record and chart in Epic.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6 months of referral and/or authorization experience
• Strong Medical Terminology and Insurance Knowledge
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Coding
