Job Description
The Engineering Practice and Resource Centre (EPRC) is seeking an experienced General Manager to develop and maintain the centre, prepare corporate plans, identify and secure training contracts, and build centre image. The ideal candidate should have a first degree in Engineering, minimum 15 years experience in Oil and Gas Energy, and strong business development capabilities.
Requirements
- Prepare corporate plan and annual business plan
- Identify, negotiate, secure and maintain training contracts with current and future clients
- Identify future needs of the centre in line with the business objectives
- Develop and maintain the centre by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, all personnel
- Develop and maintain quality management systems
- Monitor budget to ensure that training costs do not exceed allocated funds
- Build centre image by collaborating with stakeholders, clients, government, agencies and private organizations, and employees
