Job Description
The hospice volunteer plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of care provided to patients and their families, supporting the hospice agency's mission. This is a volunteer position with no pay, focused on providing assistance in designated activities or administrative tasks. Volunteers contribute to care and may also provide bereavement or patient support.
Requirements
- Provides assistance to the hospice program and/or patient/family.
- Accurately documents services provided.
- Maintains strict patient confidentiality.
- Attends in-services per year.
