Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

The Electrical Engineer supports the Maintenance and Process Engineering departments by assisting with projects, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role applies electrical engineering principles to improve equipment reliability and process efficiency within the manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

Assist with troubleshooting and improving electrical and automation systems, support installation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment, and develop and maintain electrical schematics and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
• S.E.E (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role
• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong commitment to promoting and maintaining a proactive safety culture
• Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and controls
• Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems
• Experience coordinating contractors and outside vendors
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities effectively
• Experience managing project material and labor costs within departmental budgets
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electrical design software
