
Job description
The Payroll Specialist will process payroll and maintain employee time records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies and procedures. This position works closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages and applicable deductions.
Process payroll, maintain employee time records, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, reconcile payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements, and address employee inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies.
This role requires a strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and 3+ years of payroll processing experience.
