Engineer - Process, Junior

The Jr Process Engineer will ensure that production casting processes are being performed as designed and quoted as well as offer assistance to the Engineering and Production team when needed for process verification, continuous improvement activities or optimization of the process.

Requirements

• Document process issues and root cause analysis
• Proper documentation of trials/DOE's
• Work with Tooling and Manufacturing engineers
• Participate in PFMEA creation and control plans
• Participate in continuous improvement
• Work together with other areas in continuous improvements
• Document and track engineering changes
• Participate with casting team
• Ensure process parameters are optimal
• Identify and implement Kaizen safety initiative
• Support departmental LPA and safety Audits
• Train and develop process Setters and Optimizers
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge
